When you see “Give & Go”, this is our church family coming together to collect specific items that are used to make an impact on our community
and our world. Throughout the year we have themed items to be collected for others. Donation drop-off bins are in the atrium and foyers.

Our goal is to provide weekly nutritious meal supplies including non-perishables,
fresh bread, meat, fruit and vegetables, baby food, and portable foods for those on streets.

Walking life with at-risk and homeless youth and young adults of Denver. Our mission is to provide a
"family of support" to homeless youth who have aged out of foster care and other at-risk people lacking guidance
as they transition to adulthood.

Organized Serve Day at
Movement 5280

Ways you can serve with 5280 & in the Community:

  • Cook a meal or a pot of soup for 15-20 people in our recovery group (one time or quarterly).
  • Serve a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday meal with your family, small group or Sunday school class.
  • Cook a part of a hot meal (meat, vegetable, dessert) for our large group weekly meal (average: 40 people).
  • Administrative behind the scenes help for Movement 5280.
  • Picking up donations and delivering items (this could be on a monthly rotation).
  • Donate snack items that can be given to our youth on the streets.
  • Check out our Friday youth night and find an area to serve on a Friday night once a month.
  • Collect and donate spare change (cans available at the Mission Booth).
  • Write encouraging notes and scriptures to those we give a meal to.
  • Pray specifically for all of the young adults in 5280’s Celebrate Recovery group.
  • PRAY!  PRAY!  PRAY!

HOW DO I BECOME A MENTOR? 

Looking to offer Hope in our community?
We are looking for more mentors for our Kids Hope program at Clayton Elementary School. You'll be paired with one kid and meet with them once a week for an hour during the year. If you're interested contact contact Pastor Craig:
